My beloved wife passed away some time ago, and I think of her from time to time. Life does go on, though, with an occasional feeling of emptiness.
I feel called to write. I teach college when I can, to keep my creditors at bay. I like to cook and try out new recipes, and I enjoy all kinds of good food. Music soothes my soul, especially when I play guitar and ukele. I try and not watch too much TV. I'm learning tai chi chuan, baguazhang, and qigong. I'm teaching myself wilderness photography and flyfishing. Mostly I just like the quiet, but good friends have a big place in my life, too.
